Ugly People

I was making my way to the Bukit Panjang LRT this morning when I saw this lady looking weary and was sort of pacing outside the “gate”. I pulled down my ear-piece as she walked-up and initiated to talk to me. She asked “Can help to get the TODAY paper, my child wants it”. Fyi, the paper is only reachable after you enter the “gate”. So I went, grabbed 2 copies, of course, one for myself… Passed a copy to her, and you know what?! She also asked for the copy on my the other hand. So I used a friendly but irritated tone and told her “One copy is enough”, and walked off without looking back. For her, I missed my MRT to Pasir Ris, which means I need to change train at Jurong East to get to Clementi… tsk~

Why on earth you need 2 copies…??! One child one copy?!! For friends? Can share if your friend can’t grab one on his/her way to work right… I ever saw people grabbing a whole stack when TODAY just launched. C’mon, don’t be greedy. Is free, but cannot eat right.

Also saw this lady driver kena stopped by traffic police for using invalid coupon for her off-peak car. I was able to witness the whole process when my ‘school bus’ stopped by the traffic light. Thinking of it… I should have taken picture of it. Out of curiosity, I turned my head to look at the driver. Panic was written all over her face. She even forgot to turn-off her signal light, so the left-signal continued flashing while she continued to drive on the right lane with the traffic police following behind her.
